Hello! I’m happy to introduce a new collection from Daria Nail Paint, a very special one for winter.
As you might’ve read on my about page, I’m Russian. I come from a small (by Russian measures) city next to Ural mountains. The weather is quite hot is summer, but winter is; of course, full of snow. I never realized how much I love snow, until I moved to snowless France.
So I created this collection to remind me of that beautiful white mountains of snowflakes. Though, it wouldn’t be Daria Nail Paint without a twist 😉 That’s how the neon touch was born for the If Snow Was Neon collection.
This collection contains 5 white polishes with neon glitter. The base in all of them is identical – white jelly/crelly opaque in 2 coats.
Sugar Glacier is the first of the neon snow polishes. It came out so girly and sweet, and reminded me of very-very sweet strawberry ice cream, so it has a ‘sugar’ name 🙂
Even though the base is quite opaque (only 2 coats needed), the glitters are seen very well. It creates a slight jelly-sandwich effect.
Another very cute polish came out with blue neon glitters. The color is snowy, even if it’s neon, and it looks like a sky full of snowflakes.
I would say that this polish is a little brother of Sugar Glacier. You know what I’m getting at, right? Pink and blue, blue and pink! 🙂
If winter comes early, when trees are not yet ready for it, you might wake up to frost lying on green leaves. It’s very beautiful.
This clash of autumn and winter was a real inspiration for this polish. White jelly base covers bright green glitters just enough to create the effect. This green glitter has a very subtle shine to it, making the polish look special.
Just imagine being able to trap sunlight in little ice cubes and keep it throughout whole winter. That would be a hit for cocktail parties!
The thing that I miss the most in winter is sun. This bright polish with shiny yellow glitters is that sunlight potion that you can use to brighten up cloudy winter days.
Now put all the polishes together, and you’ll have amazing winter rainbow. That’s so much fun!
I created this last polish to make a color mix of all the polishes in this collection. The colors go together so well, yellow and green glitter add a slight tint to the base.
Though candy is not normally associated with winter, I can totally imagine a snowstorm of candy 🙂
Now imagine having neon snow instead of regular white one… Wouldn’t that make winter the most awesome season ever?
